About the Farmer
Rocky Mountain Hay Farms, led by Eric Pfannensteil, is an organic farm in Monte Vista, Colorado that rotates in wheat each year with their main crop of barley.
Along with organic practices and green manure integration, Rocky Mountain Hay Farms has been working towards developing a crop rotation system - last year included mustard. Rouge de Bordeaux and Yecora Rojo are among the top grains that Pfannensteil grows and distributes to Dry Storage.
